Normand Blouin launched his career as a photojournalist during the election that followed the departure of François Duavlier (Bébé Doc) in Haiti in 1988. Over the course of his career, he documented stories and the human condition in the former Yougoslavia andAfghanistan (1992), Cuba, Haiti, Armenia, Egypt, Lebanon, Israël and many African countries.
